Projects
Bike Helmets - Providing bike helmets to young bike riders at local Edmonds elementary schools
See the June 2022 article highlighting this program in My Edmonds News.
(1/15/2024, John J) - Still coming out of the winter but very mindful of the fact that we’ll need to be ready to roll on helmet delivery in the May/June timeframe before kids get out for summer. We currently have an inventory that won’t cover all the kids but it will soften the blow with inflation driving up the prices for helmets about 25%. We’re hoping to find another great deal.
Dictionary Project - Providing Edmonds 3rd graders with a dictionary for the school year.
(1/15/2024, John J) - This year we have over 500 dictionaries to deliver to our Edmonds School District Elementary Schools. We will be labelling dictionaries later this month and getting them delivered to the kids in February.
Food Drives - The Club provides monetary and food donations for the food pantries at Chase Lake Community School and College Place Elementary as well as the Edmonds Food Bank.
Thank you note from Edmonds Elementary School for Kiwanis dictionary donations.
